Aldon Electric recently was the EPC and Electrical Contractor performing the EV install at Amazon Canton Delivery Station DMH4, securing both the building and electrical permits for the new charging stations. Aldon provided electrical infrastructure to support the installation of (65) Siemens Level 2 VersiCharge EV Chargers. The project included over 3,000 feet of steel conduit, 5,000 feet of PVC conduit, and over 6.5 miles of feeder cables to feed (3) 600A 480V power distribution pads. This project took two months to complete. BESSNeed something here
UMASS Boston
Roof Top Solar, Boston
Turnkey project that includes a 1 MW solar photovoltaic system, a 500 kW/2MWh lithium-ion battery storage system, and 11 Enel X JuiceBox electric vehicle (EV) smart charging stations on the campus. (watch video) Boston ScientificMultiple locations
1.28 MW photovoltaic systems. The Quincy facility is outfitted with almost 4,000 solar panels on its roof. This solar energy system is capable of generating 1.2 megawatts of power, approximately 25% of the power used by the site. REICarport, Framingham
156.8 kW photovoltaic systems. The carport will provide about 80 percent of the solar power at the site, with a less visible solar array on the roof handling the rest. The site will generate 210 kilowatts total — enough to power 22 homes and the equivalent of taking 34 cars off the road in reduced emissions. Aldon Electric, IBEW Local 103 teamed up with IBEW Local 223 to complete one of the largest solar parking canopies in New England. The project was completed during the record breaking 2015 winter conditions with a condensed schedule the workforce was made up of an average of 30 electricians. Work started the week before Christmas and final completion was achieved in April. (click here for Case Study) The solar array will generate more than 34 million kWh of energy each year, enough to cover half of the campus’ electricity needs and generate a 20-year savings of more than $1.75 million. The solar parking canopy avoids the emission of more than 1,500 tons of carbon dioxide each year, which is the same as removing approximately 5,000 cars from the road. 600, KW photovoltaic systems. Kohl’s estimates that its total solar capacity will reach 74.2 million kilowatt hours of energy, the equivalent of taking 10,000 cars off the roads or canceling out the emissions of 6400 homes annually. Berlin Solar FieldSolar Field, Berlin
The 3.75 MW across four photovoltaic (PV) arrays is now generating about 4,875,000 kWh of electricity for the Town of Berlin each year. That is the equivalent of 708 cars removed from U.S. roads or 86,194 tree seedlings grown for 10 years. At an economic level this project is similarly advantageous for the Town, which is set to gain substantial revenue over the lifetime of the project.
